Hi, my name is Adele Taplin
I began my career as a graphic designer, but through the years I have been lucky enough to work in many other creative capacities. This love of all things creative has led me down a non-traditional career path.
As the primary for my own studio I worked with clients as art director, creative director and brand manager. In 2010 I became executive director of Stowe Vibrancy, where I helped establish and manage an artist market and other annual events. Around this same time I began doing more illustration work in addition to creative direction for my travel and resort clients.
In 2014, my path made a directional change. I began working at IKEA as a Visual Merchandiser. I continued to work with a few of my existing specialty food and resort clients, but threw myself into learning everything I could about retail store design. My most recent work for IKEA was based around the branding, visual and creative direction of seasonal launches, special collections and event and space design connected to those.
Now it's time to navigate the next curve in my path. I can't wait to share my knowledge and creativity!
